Data Privacy is Important to Us

At Ktech, your privacy is of paramount importance. We adhere to all relevant data privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) concerning personal data collected and processed related to residents of the European Union, European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland (collectively referred to as the “Data Privacy Requirements”). This privacy statement outlines the privacy practices of Ktech and its affiliates (collectively, the “Company”). Who is the Controller for the Personal Data Processed?

A “controller” is a person or organization who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data. This notice is issued on behalf of Ktech, headquartered at Building # 12 – Tariq Block, New Garden Town, Lahore, Postal Code – 05309, Pakistan. Unless notified otherwise, Ktech is the controller of your personal data. When acting as a data processor, we only process your personal data to the extent necessary for business purposes in accordance with our business customer’s written instructions. We do not process your personal data for any other purpose or in a way that does not comply with those instructions or data protection legislation.

What Personal Data We Collect and Process?

Ktech collects business contact information (e.g., name, title, address, email, phone number) and financial information (e.g., payment method and history, accounts payable) from our business customers and vendors. Additionally, we collect personal contact information, purchase information, and customer experience information from individuals who purchase products and services from our business customers.

How and Why We Process Personal Data?

Ktech processes personal information for the following purposes:

  1. Providing products and services to our business customers. We collect and process business contact information to enter into and perform contracts with our business customers.
  2. Working with our vendors. We collect and process business contact information to enter into and perform contracts with our vendors.
  3. Generating customers for our business customers. We collect and process personal and business contact information through our websites, display banners, chat boxes, social media platforms, telephone calls, and interviews. This information is shared with our business customers to assist them in customer acquisition efforts.
  4. Enhancing the customer experience for the benefit of our business customers. We collect and process personal and business contact information about individuals who purchase products and services from our business customers. This includes their impressions of their purchase experience and feedback through surveys, telephone calls, and interviews, shared with our business customers to assist them in customer relations efforts.
  5. Making our websites more useful. We automatically collect and store certain information for each HTTP request received, such as the date and time, the originating IP address, browser and operating system type, the referring page URL, and the completion status of the request pages visited. This information helps us measure and analyze site traffic to improve usability.

Interaction with Children

We do not target or provide content to children under the age of 16 and do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Cookies

Cookies are small files placed on a user’s hard drive by web servers. Ktech does not use “persistent cookies” or other persistent tracking methods to collect personal information. Cookies serve several functions, such as identifying previous visits, tracking viewed information, and enhancing customer convenience. If you are concerned about cookies, you can set your browser to prompt you before accepting cookies. Most browsers allow settings to identify and/or reject cookies.

Marketing and Exercising Your Right to Opt-Out

We Also Collect and Use Non-Personal Data

In addition to personal information, we collect and store non-personal data (such as search engine queries and anonymous survey responses) to better understand and meet the needs of our visitors. We may share non-personal information with others in aggregated or edited forms or verbatim (e.g., survey responses).

Ktech verifies its DPF privacy practices annually through self-assessment, ensuring compliance with DPF principles. If a complaint remains unresolved, EU residents can contact their local data protection authority, Swiss residents can contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, and UK residents can contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Data Security

Ktech implements internal policies and technical measures to protect personal data, including pseudonymization, encryption, confidentiality controls, and regular testing of security measures.
